Talia Winokur, Co-Director
Talia received a Bachelor of Science in Spanish from Georgetown University and holds a Masters in Education with a bilingual certificate from Loyola Marymount University. She first worked with Breakthrough at Kent Denver School, and co-founded and continues to be involved with a preschool in La Paz, Bolivia.
Sam Ritter, Co-Director
Sam graduated from Carleton College with a degree in history and religion before moving to Santa Fe, where he worked for the organization Citizen Schools at De Vargas Middle School while receiving his Master’s Degree in Education from Lesley University. Sam is excited to return to Breakthrough Santa Fe after serving as a summer teaching intern in 2007 and 2009. Outside of school, Sam likes to play music and enjoy the great outdoors.
Allie Cooper, Student Support Coordinator
Allie Cooper graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Global Development Studies and Spanish. She taught at Breakthrough Santa Fe as an intern in 2010 and 2012, and she is happy to be back at Breakthrough overseeing our tutoring program for middle and high school students.
Tom Mosher, Program Coordinator
Tom graduated from Pomona College with a degree in Religious Studies. He taught at Breakthrough Santa Fe during the summers of 2012 and 2014 and has come back to help coordinate the Davis New Mexico Scholarship. Tom enjoys traveling, cooking, and running.
